Beyond the Highlight Reel: Following Everyday Life at Rice Ranch
A short animal video can introduce you to a place in a few seconds. Following a place over time gives you a different kind of connection. You can come back for the ordinary moments, the questions, and the progress that continues between public updates.
The Rice Ranch supporter community is built around that closer view. The $10/month support fee is also your Rice Ranch membership fee and gives you access to the exclusive Rice Ranch Supporters group for animal content and project updates. This membership is separate from the JoyfulBliss Inner Circle and the free community.
What a closer view includes
Inside the community, the content brings together photos, videos, behind-the-scenes care, rescue stories, progress updates, and up-close experiences with the animals. Monthly project updates give supporters a continuing thread to follow as the ranch works toward a specific goal.
You might enjoy the short daily moments most, or prefer returning to a longer project update. The group is designed to make both kinds of participation possible. You can ask a thoughtful question, respond to a post, or quietly follow along when that suits your day.
This is an online community experience. The invitation is to see more of ranch life through shared content and conversation, without needing to be present for every post.
Follow the winter housing project
Our current campaign goal is $5,000 by December 31, 2026 for winter animal housing. It covers the goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and outdoor cats, plus a shelter for dogs we temporarily foster.
All of these animals need shelter with the same urgency. Work will begin as funds come in, so useful improvements can move forward before the full $5,000 is raised. Supporters can follow the work through the group's project updates.
Rice Ranch membership payments count toward the $5,000 campaign goal. Once that goal is met, further support will go toward animal food and veterinary care.
The winter housing project gives the community a shared point of attention. Smaller updates will show the work as it progresses and explain what has changed since the last public post.
Get to know the stories with context
Animal stories deserve care in how they are told. A meaningful update can explain what is known, what is happening now, and what the next step will be. It does not need an exaggerated title to invite people to pay attention.
The supporter community creates space for those fuller stories, alongside everyday photos and videos. Over time, returning to the same subjects can help you follow the progress and remember the details that a single short clip cannot hold.
Our updates will introduce the animals through their everyday care and the spaces being prepared for them. You can follow both the familiar moments and the shelter work taking shape over time.
Choose the support option that fits
Choose the option that fits you: join Rice Ranch Supporters for $10/month to receive private group access, or make a one-time donation without joining. A donation by itself does not start a membership or a recurring charge.
Additional donations are optional for members. If you donate and later want group access, you can join for $10/month. There is no second membership fee on top of that monthly support payment.
Come into the community at your own pace
Once you join, begin with the welcome and pinned posts. Read about the winter housing project, explore the latest animal updates, and introduce yourself if you would like to. A simple answer to “What brought you here?” is enough.
The aim is an ongoing connection: a place to follow the animals, see the work more closely, and understand the project's progress as it unfolds.
